The Lenze MF + 8400 motec drive system combines the inverter-optimised MF series three-phase AC motors with the decentralised 8400 motec frequency inverter, creating a compact and energy-efficient solution for various industrial applications. This integrated system offers a wide speed setting range of up to 1:24 with constant torque, surpassing traditional AC motors in dynamic performance. The 8400 motec inverter, with its high protection class of IP65, can be mounted directly on the motor or nearby, reducing installation complexity and saving valuable space.
Features
The MF motor's compact design allows for space-saving installations without compromising power output. Its high rotational speed enables the use of smaller gearboxes, reducing overall system size and cost. It features integrated loop-through arrangements for power and communication busses, integrated safety (safe torque off), and fieldbus communication tailored to individual requirements. The system also includes integrated inputs, outputs, and a 24V power supply, simplifying wiring and reducing complexity. Additionally, the innovative energy-saving function VFC eco adapts the motor magnetising current to actual process needs, reducing losses and improving efficiency, particularly in partial load operation.
