Features
Built with an aluminium frame, these motors feature precision steel shafts, robust bearings, and IP55 protection (IP66 optional) to withstand harsh conditions. Standard features include class‑F insulation, built-in PTC thermistors for thermal protection, and a durable C3 paint finish for corrosion resistance. ABB’s modular terminal boxes can be positioned for ease of cabling, and the motors are tested for uninterrupted use with variable-speed drives. With the ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor option, these motors can deliver real-time monitoring to enable proactive maintenance and minimise downtime.
