The range is intended for use in environments that require flameproof and dust-protected motor solutions, with a specification suited to a wide variety of demanding process and plant installations.
Features
The WEX3 range is built in cast iron and is certified to ATEX and IECEx, with standard protection options including Ex db IIB T4 Gb, Ex db IIC T4 Gb, Ex db eb IIB/IIC T4 Gb, and Ex tb IIIB/IIIC T130°C Db. Standard enclosure protection is IP55, with IP56, IP65, and IP66 available, and the motors are offered in foot, flange, face, and combined mounting arrangements. The range covers frame sizes 80 to 315, outputs from 0.37 kW to 200 kW, and 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-pole versions, with 50 Hz and 60 Hz operation, IC411 cooling, Class F insulation, and Class B temperature rise. Additional published options include thermal protection, anti-condensation heaters, inverter duty with derating, paint to IEC 12944-equivalent specification, and ambient operation from -20°C to +40°C as standard, with -40°C to +60°C available as an option.
