Features
The Brook Crompton Series 10 motor range covers outputs from 0.09 kW up to 900 kW across frame sizes 56 to 450. Motors are offered in 2, 4, 6, and 8 pole configurations, with standard 50 Hz operation and 60 Hz options available. Standard features include IP55 protection, IC411 (TEFC) cooling, and Class F insulation, along with multiple mounting configurations such as foot (B3), flange (B5), face (B14), and combination arrangements. Voltage ratings typically include 230/400 V up to 3 kW and 400/690 V above 4 kW. The range also supports inverter-duty operation, with thermal protection options including PTC thermistors.
Additional design features include robust terminal box configurations, metal fan covers, and compliance with IEC standards for vibration, noise, and safety. Cast-iron variants are available with optional accessories such as space heaters, while aluminium models provide a lightweight alternative for easier handling and installation.
